Amazing experience yes! Jim and I have been talking about a Nepal trip in 2011, and this kind of combined trip - touring & a meaningful experience volunteering - would be incredible. We are new to natural building, but intend to participate in Andrew Morrison's straw bale house construction in Montana this May/June, and Jim has traditional home construction experience as well, so hopefully we would be quick learners. We live in the Denver area, and will participate in an adobe construction project this summer as well (we anticipate your trip will be postponed for at least 6 months to a year). We are middle-age-ish, but workout and in good health. Please keep us posted as to your reschedule. Due to Jim's job, I don't know that we could take 42 days for the full trip, but would want to have more details about your schedule to assess whether your schedule would allow us to contribute to construction as well as participate in some of your group's touring. I will hopefully have my LPN training by then as well. Namaste.

I'm finding you very late in the game but I'm very interested in your work, I've been building an Earthship for myself in upstate new york and holding workshops surrounding it, I have allot of conventional building and ever increasing sustainable building experience. I also spent last february in Indonesia teaching how to make rocket stoves. I'd love to help you out.

This sounds very interesting I have been wanting to learn about Natural building for some time now and one of my goals in life it so go to Nepal. I think I calculated it out and the tuition it $430 if I'm off please let me know. I am not sure what kind of people you are looking for. I have some background in building and have spent the last 4 months working on a trail crew in Colorado. In April 2010 i hope to work for California Conservation Corps Backcountry program. So this would be an Amazing experience between the two.
